A map of coronavirus infections in Egypt

The Health Ministry has published a map of the spread of coronavirus infections in Egyptian governorates up until March 29. The map did not provide details of the neighbourhoods or cities within the governorates, but it mentioned the governorates in total.

The map was distributed as follows: Alexandria 51 cases, Red Sea 43 cases, Cairo 40 cases, Damietta 34 cases, Minya 31 cases, Dakahlia 27 cases, Luxor 15 cases, Giza 14 cases, Port Said 13 cases, Qena 12 cases, Assiut 12 cases, Menoufia 11 cases, Beni Suef 7 cases, Qalyubia 6 cases, Beheira 6 cases, Gharbia 3 cases, Kafr el-Sheikh 2 cases, South Sinai 2 cases and one cases in each of Sohag, Eastern, Ismailia and Marsa Matrouh.
