Health Minister Hala Zayed has accused the General Syndicate of Doctors of disturbing public security, fabricating crises, and provoking doctors. The minister accused the syndicate of inflaming public opinion by inciting doctors after a number of them backed out of working at the hospital allocated for Egyptians returning from China, which she said was a waste of public funds.
The minister has accused the syndicate of misleading the doctors by claiming she was
responsible for the death of three female doctors and injury of another 14 female doctors in the Minya doctors’ accident.
