The Kuwaiti authorities handed over 3 Egyptian dissidents to their Egyptian counterparts, on charges of calling to protest against the regime of General Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
Sources told the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas that the relevant authorities arrested 3 Egyptians in the Farwaniya governorate, who had called on the Egyptian people to demonstrate through social media. The three were handed over to the Egyptian Interpol after completing investigations with them by the Kuwaiti State Security Service. It is reported that the Kuwaiti authorities handed over dozens of members of the Muslim Brotherhood to its Egyptian counterpart last year.
Kuwait is considered one of the countries that supported the military coup in Egypt against the late President Mohamed Morsi in July 2013.
