We Record human rights monitoring organisation has published on its Facebook page a top-secret military document addressed to military units in five Egyptian provinces that have high infection rates of the novel coronavirus. The document orders a suspension of leave for commanders of military units, a suspension of leave for unit members currently off duty, and a 14-day quarantine for unit members returning to duty within the past three days. According to the document, there are high infection rates in Menofia, Damietta, Alexandria, Minya and Qena, though this has not yet been announced by the Ministry of Health, despite the fact that it has a responsibility towards the citizens living in these governorates. Egypt has officially confirmed 656 cases of coronavirus, including 41 deaths.
